Metro welcomed passengers again on Wednesday with the assurance of safe travel after nearly a month of Corona Curfew. Lucknow Metro has made all arrangements to ensure contactless travel and physical distancing for safe and comfortable travel of passengers. Keeping in mind the safety of the passengers, Lucknow Metro has made arrangements for train sanitization with UV rays. The result of these metro preparations is that a good number of passengers are adopting Lucknow Metro for safe travel. A look at the steps taken by Lucknow Metro. Lucknow Metro became the first metro in the country to sanitize the entire train and tokens with UV rays , Lift buttons, AFC doors, Metro train seats and doors are being sanitized regularly. During the operation of all metro trains, after sanitization and operation, sanitization of the entire train is done again in the metro depot. Keeping in view the safety of the passengers, arrangement of regular sanitization at all metro stations, hand sanitizer, thermal scanner for the passengers. It is mandatory for passengers to wear masks. Following the government order, the metro is being operated from 7 am to 7 pm. The last train leaves from CCS Airport and Munshipulia Terminal stations at 7 pm.
