Shooting of Gabru was a road trip: Pranati Rai Prakash
One of the reasons I liked Pranati Rai Prakash for shooting the music video of Kamal Khan’s Punjabi track Gabru is that she went on a mini road trip for it.
She recalls, I traveled from Gurgaon to Chandigarh for the shoot. It was a road trip. I love road trips. We stopped at dhabas for delicious Dal Makhani and Aloo Parathas. Everyone was new to me but I felt like friends, so shooting for it was fun.
The actress says that the video was very different from her earlier work.
Pranati, who made her film debut, says, “I feel every project of mine has a different essence. Gabru has a lovely bit of fun and I love the sequences in salwar kurtas that are trending in the Punjab farm. 2019 will be seen in Family of Thakurganj and Penthouse with Arjun Rampal as well as in the web series Cartel.
About Gabru, she adds, it is a sequence of how a boy falls in love with a girl and secretly admires her and eventually they fall in love. The story moves from a club to the fields of Punjab. I liked both my looks. – Western and Desi. I really enjoyed shooting it.
