Tata Motors produced the 2 millionth Nexon
Leading automotive company Tata Motors today produced the 200,000th Nexon from its plant in Ranjangaon, Pune. This achievement has been achieved following the safety protocols and hygiene rules of COVID 19.
Since the launch of the 1.5 lakh Nexon in November 2020, the last 50,000 units have been manufactured in less than 6 months. Demand has exceeded supply and production has been limited due to the pandemic.
He said that the Nexon is one of the 3 best selling compact SUVs in India and the company has achieved new milestones in its brand journey and its popularity is increasing every month.
The Nexon is the first car in India to be given a full 5-star adult safety rating by the internationally renowned automotive safety certification organization, ‘Global NCAP’. The Nexon has received many accolades for its class-leading safety, design and driving pleasure. Customer bookings are on the rise and Nexon’s sales of 8683 units in March 2021 set a new one-month sales record, further cementing the company’s leading position in the C-SUV segment.
