Netherlands starts Euro 2020 campaign with victory over Ukraine

The Netherlands started their UEFA Euro 2020 campaign with a win against Ukraine. Netherlands beat Ukraine 3-2 in Group C match of Euro 2020 Cup played in Amsterdam. Denzel Dumfries of the Netherlands scored the deciding goal of the match.
Earlier in the match played in Romania’s capital Bucharest, Austria won 3-1 over North Macedonia.
The Netherlands will now take on Austria in Amsterdam on June 17, while Ukraine will play against North Macedonia in Bucharest on the same day. It is noteworthy that this year the Euro 2020 tournament is being held across the continent for the first time in its 60-year history. Eleven cities are hosting it, including London, St Petersburg, Baku, Munich, Rome, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Glasgow and Seville.
The final of the tournament is to be played on 11 July at Wembley Stadium in London.
