Dehradun : The police officers who hide crimes and do not listen to complaints in the capital are no longer well. It has started with ISBT post in-charge. DIG Garhwal Range Neeru Garg has directed the ISBT outpost in-charge to appear on the line immediately for not registering the victim’s case.
Complainant Intezaar Hussain resident of Mehunwala police station, Patel Nagar Dehradun told DIG Neeru Garg that the in-charge outpost ISBT police station Patelnagar, despite having sufficient grounds, did not register the case with delay and under appropriate sections. Rather, unnecessary pressure is being created from the opposition to compromise. After the tests, DIG Garhwal Zone Neeru Garg found prima facie that the victim has suffered serious injuries due to medical reports and photographs. And mitigation of sections is reflected in the draft, whereas in the past also detailed guidelines were issued from the Police Headquarters/Range level in cases of the above nature. Even after this, taking seriously the carelessness at the police station / outpost level, * DIG did not register the complaint on the application of the aggrieved party under appropriate sections and due to negligence, the in-charge post ISBT was asked to appear on the line with immediate effect. Instructions were given to SSP Dehradun and the investigation of the above case was handed over to SP City Dehradun, fixing the responsibility of police station in-charge Patel Nagar / outpost in-charge ISBT, as well as instructions to investigate the case under appropriate sections on the basis of medical report to SSP Dehradun. Giving the report has been summoned in 07 days.
