CBSE 12th result will be decided by 10th-11th numbers, result will be ready by July 31
The 13-member committee formed to prepare the 12th marksheet of CBSE Board has submitted its report in the Supreme Court today. CBSE said that the pre board results of class 10th, 11th and 12th will be made the basis of the final result of class 12th. CBSE said that separate arrangements will be made for the children who want to take the exam later. Attorney General KK Venugopal, appearing for the central government in the Supreme Court, said that the CBSE results will be out on July 31.
Giving the details of preparing the 12th marksheet, CBSE said that out of 5 subjects of 10th, the best marks of 3 subjects will be taken, similarly the average of the five subjects of 11th will be taken and the number of 12th pre-board exam and practical will be taken. will be taken. The results will be based on 30% of 10th marks, 30% of 11th marks and 40% of 12th marks.
In the Supreme Court, CBSE said that the result committee decided on the weightage based on the credibility of the examination, the policy of the schools is to give more marks in the preboard, so the result committee will be constituted for each of the thousands of CBSE schools, The two senior most teachers and the teacher from the neighboring school will act as a moderation committee to ensure that the school does not exaggerate the marks, which will assess the performance of the students for the last three years.
On June 4, CBSE had constituted a 13-member committee to decide the assessment policy. The committee was given ten days to prepare the report. Many types of assessment are being discussed regarding the result, in this there is also a way that the board can prepare the result on the basis of the final marks of 10th and internal evaluation of 12th. Apart from this, the government had already decided that if the students are not happy with their results, then they will be able to apply for improvement in marks if the situation worsened by Corona becomes normal.
