SP worker slapped Maulana Sajid Rashidi for commenting on Dimple Yadav

Maulana Sajid Rashidi has been slapped by a Samajwadi Party worker for making objectionable comments against Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav. It is being told that this incident happened in the studio of a private channel in Noida and now the video of the incident has gone viral. SP leader Mohit Nagar has slapped him and this has angered his supporters. A criminal case has been registered against Muslim religious leader Maulana Sajid Rashidi and this has created a ruckus.

What is the whole matter

Rashidi had commented on Dimple’s husband and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav and other SP MPs going to a mosque recently for a meeting. Maulana had recently made some derogatory comments against the Mainpuri MP during a television debate. In the complaint filed by local resident Pravesh Yadav, Rashidi has been accused of making statements that are not only derogatory and anti-women, but also extremely provocative and inciting religious animosity and communal tension.
