Uttarakhand : CM Dhami arrives at Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank’s residence, wishes for Diwali

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today met former Chief Minister and former Union Minister and Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank at his residence. During this, CM Dhami wished Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The Chief Minister said that the festival of Diwali symbolizes the victory of peace over unrest, good over evil and light over darkness. It is his wish that this festival of Diwali illuminates the lives of all of us.

At the same time, former Chief Minister and former Union Minister and Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also wished Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami a happy Diwali. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also congratulated the people of the state on Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhaiya Dooj and said that the festival of Diwali symbolizes the victory of peace over unrest, good over evil and light over darkness. Diwali is also a festival of worship and social harmony of Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Annapurna.

The Chief Minister said that the state government would work for the development of other mythological temples and pilgrimage areas of the state on the lines of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. He had extensive discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the planned development of pilgrimage and religious tourism in the state. He received very important guidance in this regard from Prime Minister Modi. PM Modi said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is the center of faith and reverence for crores of people around the world. Like Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand, the state government should prepare a master plan for the planned development of other mythological temples and pilgrimage areas of the state, the central government is ready for all possible help.
