Jerusalem : Palestinian woman shot after trying to attack her with car
A Palestinian woman in the West Bank attempted to attack her with a car, after which Israeli soldiers shot the woman. The incident took place outside the Palestinian city of Hijma, northeast of Jerusalem.
The woman was identified as a 29-year-old resident of Abu Dis, a city east of Jerusalem. The woman went to a location adjacent to Hijma, where soldiers were securing engineering activity, and attempted to mount a car and attack the soldiers with a knife.
The soldiers responded to the attacker and he was gunned down.
A similar incident happened on June 12, where a 28-year-old Palestinian woman affiliated with Hamas attempted an attack and was shot by Israeli forces.
