Uttarakhand : Farmers got increased insurance claim
Nainital : Mandi Committee President Manoj Sah while talking to reporters on Saturday said that the insurance company has now given an amount of about 14 crore 43 lakh 49 thousand insurance claims to the cultivators of Bhimtal, Okhalkanda, Dhari and Ramgarh. which has been deposited in the accounts of farmers. Told that earlier this amount was Rs 3 crore 38 lakh 58 thousand. He said that the crop of the mountain farmers had suffered a lot. Relative to which very less claim was being given by the insurance company. In Bhimtal assembly constituency, 11,883 farmers have got their crops insured. In which 1774 farmers of Ramgarh got about two crore 10 lakh, 3930 farmers of Dhari 5 crore 33 lakh, 3196 farmers of Bhimtal got 4 crore 22 lakh and 2983 farmers of Okhalkanda got an increased insurance claim of 2 crore 73 lakh. He has thanked the departmental officers including CM, Agriculture Minister and DM for this.
