Himachal Pradesh COVID Update : Last week the positivity rate was recorded at 1.3 percent in the state.
Health Department spokesperson said here today that till June 20, 2021, a total of 200410 persons have been found to be COVID positive in the state. He said that during the last one month there has been a steady decrease in the number of corona positive cases and the number of COVID positive cases has come down to 2711.
He said that during June 14 to June 20, 2021, 1860 positive cases of COVID were registered and the positivity rate was 1.3 percent. During the same period a total of 9655 people were tested for COVID in district Bilaspur, out of which 104 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.1 percent. A total of 8899 people were tested for COVID in Chamba, out of which 222 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 2.5 percent, in Hamirpur a total of 9670 people were tested for COVID, out of which 158 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.6 percent, in Kangra A total of 33060 people were tested for COVID, out of which 434 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.3 percent, in Kinnaur total 1994 people were tested for COVID, out of which 48 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 2.4 percent.
He said that a total of 6355 people were tested for COVID in district Kullu, out of which 99 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.6 percent. In Lahaul-Spiti, a total of 1081 people were tested for covid, out of which 21 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.9 percent, in Mandi a total of 24342 people were tested for covid, out of which 276 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.1 percent. A total of 11714 people were tested for COVID in Shimla, out of which 211 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.8 percent, in Sirmaur a total of 10032 people were tested for COVID, out of which 116 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 1.2 percent, in Solan A total of 9626 people were tested for COVID, out of which 83 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 0.9 percent and in district Una, total 12437 people were tested for covid, out of which 88 people were found positive and the positivity rate was 0.7%. During the same period, 51 corona patients have died in the state.
