Rise in precious metals
The effect of the rise in precious metals in the international market was also visible in the domestic bullion market today where both the precious metals registered an increase. In the international market, spot gold was up 1.09 percent at $ 1782.51 an ounce. US gold futures were up 0.74 per cent at USD 1780.90 an ounce. Similarly, spot silver was up 0.81 per cent at $26 an ounce.
In the country’s largest futures market MCX, gold rose by Rs 261 to Rs 46989 per 10 grams and gold mini rose by Rs 200 to Rs 46795 per 10 grams. During this, silver was increased by Rs 158 to Rs 67756 per kg and silver mini by Rs 104 to Rs 67907 per kg.
