Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Administration should ban religious program: Pahwa
Activists of Bhairav Sena have warned of a demonstration in Harilok Colony, objecting to the organizing of religious programs by people of a particular religion. In a statement issued to the press, Charanjit Pahwa, District President of Bhairav Sena said that people of a particular religion are preparing to organize a religious program in Harilok Colony. Pahwa said that the religious program is being organized with the intention of grabbing the government property. In this regard, he and the people of the colony have also informed the Jwalapur Kotwali police through a memorandum. While handing over the memorandum to the Kotwali in-charge, Pahwa said that Harilok Colony is a Hindu dominated area. Organizing religious programs in the colony can spoil the atmosphere. Therefore, religious events being organized with the intention of taking possession of government property should be banned. He said that earlier attempts had been made to take possession of government property. Therefore, the government administration should investigate the whole matter and take necessary action. Those who submitted the memorandum included Dharamvir Sharma, Vijender Pawar, Vishal Sharma, Badal Tomar, Vicky Chauhan, Manga Chauhan, Rakesh Chauhan, Anil Saini, Pawan Chauhan, Ram Thakur, Bhola Kochhar, Sandeep Yadav Yadav etc.
