Rupee up 10 paise
The rupee today traded 10 paise higher at 74.28 per dollar in the inter-banking currency market on a weakening dollar against major world currencies and weakening demand for the US issue domestically. In the previous session, it stopped at Rs 74.38 per dollar.
Rupee today opened at Rs 74.26 per dollar with a strength of 12 paise. During the session, it ranged between a low of Rs 74.39 per dollar and a high of Rs 74.07 per dollar. In the end, the rupee strengthened by 10 paise and stood at 74.28 per dollar.
