Yellow alert issued for four districts

Meteorologists have predicted lightning and rain with strong winds in the capital Dehradun as well as Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Almora districts in the next 24 hours. A yellow alert has also been issued for these districts by meteorologists.

Experts advised to take precautions

Medical experts say that there is a need to be a little careful in this mood of the weather. Doon Hospital’s Medical Superintendent and Senior Physician Dr. KC Pant says that there should be no shortage of water in the body in such a situation.

Otherwise the risk of dehydration and diarrhea will increase. Along with this, in this mood of the weather, the goods sold in the open on the streets of the capital will also have to be avoided. According to Dr. Pant, it is good to drink more and more lemonade along with ORS solution in view of the changing mood of the season.

July’s ration delivered to 13 villages due to disaster

In the monsoon season, 16 villages of Laksar-Khanpur, which are prone to disasters, have also been sent ration for July by the supply department to cheap galley shops. Its distribution will start from July 1.

Every year during the rainy season, the flood water that comes in the Ganges spreads on the agricultural land of the area, causing havoc. Population also increases the risk of floods. After heavy rains last week, water reached the population of Dumanpuri, Kalsia, Ramsahaiwala and Himmatpur Bela villages. The administration and other departments are on alert in view of the floods.

Ration is being delivered from the supply department to the villages situated on the banks of the Ganges. Assistant Food Officer MS Rawat said that Maharajpur Khurd, Ranjitpur Raighati, Nandpur, Kudi Bhagwanpur, Panditpuri, Gangdaspur, Kalsia, Balavali, Madabela, Chandrapuri Bangar, Dallawala, Jogawala, Chandrapuri Khadar, Mathana villages are very vulnerable to disaster. .

In view of the disaster, the ration of July has also been sent to the shops of ration dealers in these villages. He told that ration has reached everywhere. Its distribution will start from the first week of July.
