Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : Two accused in car with stolen goods arrested

Under the police station area, in the case of theft in a closed house a week ago, the police has arrested two vicious car-riding miscreants with stolen goods. The police entered the house against the accused and completed the theft case. The accused were produced in the court, from where they have been sent to jail in judicial custody. Shanti Devi’s wife Ramesh Dutt Ghildiyal, resident of Vivek Vihar Rajroad Selakui had gone to Dehradun on June 16 on her daughter’s birthday. On June 17, neighbors reported that the locks of their house were broken. On information Shanti Devi returned home with her son Sandeep Ghildiyal and saw that the locks of the house were broken. Neck chain, tops, gold ring, silver coins and cash worth Rs 10,000 were found missing from the safe of the cupboard in the house. On June 18, Sandeep Ghildiyal filed a case of theft against unknown people by giving a complaint to the police station. After which the police formed four teams with the SOG and resorted to surveillance along with scanning the CCTV footage of the vehicles coming from the day of the incident. On checking the CCTV cameras, the police found a car of Haryana number. In the investigation, the name of Ashok Kushwaha son Rambabu Kushwaha, resident of Prashant Enclave, Baprola Vihar police station Ranaulana, New Delhi and Jitendra son Kamta Prasad resident of Barkheda police station Karavali district Etah Mainpur UP Hall, resident of Deep Vihar, Lalkuan Ghaziabad UP surfaced. On 26 June, during checking on the information of the informer, the police caught the car of Haryana number in Rajroad Selakui and nabbed Ashok and Jitendra. On the behest of the accused, the police recovered seven thousand two hundred rupees from the stolen cash and jewelery etc. from a ruin in Byankhala. Disclosing the matter, CO Premnagar Deepak Singh told reporters that the accused have been produced in the court and sent to jail in judicial custody. The police team included SO Vinod Singh Rana, SOG Omkant, SI Pravesh Rawat, Constable Sanjay, Dheeraj, Brajpal, Manoj, Deepak Chauhan, SOG constable Navneet Negi, Soni Kumar, Manoj, Jitendra etc.
