Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : Awareness rally taken out against drug
Kotwali Police, NCC Cadets, Traders and Lions Club organized a seminar against drug addiction in the city and made people aware of drugs. After the seminar, an awareness rally was taken out in the city. During this, everyone, including the police officers and employees involved in the rally, informed the people about the ill effects of drugs. A seminar was organized in the market on Friday under the aegis of Vikasnagar Kotwali Police. In which the speakers spoke about the harmful effects of drugs. Kotwal Pradeep Bisht said that due to drug addiction, many evils are prevailing in the society today. Drugs are the cause of most criminal incidents. Many houses have been destroyed due to drugs. Many families are on the verge of ruin. Said that the youth, who are called the future of the country, are getting caught in the grip of drugs badly. Said that in future, if the shoulders on which the country’s burden will be, if those shoulders are not strong, then what will happen to the future of the country. Drug addiction among youth has to be stopped. For which every person in the society needs to come forward. During the rally, people were informed about the ill-effects of drugs through photos, banners, slogans and loudspeakers.
