Corona curfew will continue in Uttarakhand till July 6
The danger of infection in the state is not over yet. And the government is taking decisions carefully. Therefore, the COVID curfew will be continued. But with some relief. Now there will be corona curfew in the state till July 6. The opening hours of shops during the COVID curfew have been fixed from 5 am to 7 pm. During this, tourist places will be open only for two days on Saturday and Sunday. Whereas, gyms and coaching centers will also be opened with 50′ capacity. Regarding the extended COVID-19 curfew till July 6, Government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal said that the COVID curfew has been extended for a week and this time some additional relaxation will also be given. Subodh Uniyal said that tourist places will be opened on Saturday and Sunday. In which other tourist places including Mussoorie, Nainital will also be included. In the same tourist places, the weekly closure will now be on Tuesday and Wednesday. Apart from this, the opening time of shops has also been increased from 5 pm to 7 pm. At the same time, it will be mandatory for those coming from outside states to register on the smart city portal and bring negative RTPCR test report 72 hours in advance. Migrants coming to Uttarakhand from outside will have to stay in the isolation center set up in the village for seven days.
Preparations are on to reopen the higher educational institutions which have been closed for a long time in the state for the students. In the districts where there are less cases of infection, first of all, colleges will be started from those districts. Due to COVID in the state, examinations are not being held in universities for the second consecutive year. Last year students were promoted to the next class. Then they had internal assessment marks, but this time this system is not being made.
