Defense PRO said that the first blast happened at 1:37 pm and the second explosion happened at 1:42 pm. However, there is no news of anyone getting injured in this blast. As a precaution, the police and forensic team has reached the spot and is investigating. It is being told that in a short time the team of NIA and NSG will also investigate after reaching the Air Force station.
According to the news agency, the sound of the blast was heard in the Air Force station located at Jammu airport. This area comes under high security. It is being told that there were two explosions with a difference of 5 minutes. The first blast took place on the roof of a building and the second blast took place on the ground. At the same time, the Air Force says that only the roof has been damaged in the blast and no damage has been done.
On the blast, the Indian Air Force also tweeted that there was no casualty in it. The Air Force tweeted that there were two low-intensity blasts at the Jammu Air Force Station. The roof of the building was damaged in an explosion. The second blast took place on the ground, but it did not cause any damage.
At the same time, after this the entire area has been sealed within minutes. Police, forensic team and senior officials have reached the spot. Bomb disposal squad has also reached there.
On the blast, an official related to the matter said that reports of an explosion inside the airport station have come to the fore. The good thing is that neither the jawan was injured nor any equipment was damaged in the blast. He told that the investigation is going on now and only after that the picture will be clear.
Action continues against terrorists
Meanwhile, the action of security forces against terrorists is going on in Kashmir. Two suspected terrorists have been arrested from Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu. At the same time, two terrorists have also been arrested from Narwal area. 5 kg IED has been recovered from them. However, they have no connection with the blast at Jammu airport.
