Surat’s diamond merchant Mahesh Savani joins Aam Aadmi Party
Surat’s famous diamond merchant Mahesh Savani joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia welcomed him into the party wearing a cap and patka.

On this occasion, Manish Sisodia said, I am happy that in the last 4 months, the Aam Aadmi Party has spread rapidly in Gujarat. We are getting the love of the people. The people of Surat have started choosing young and educated people in Surat’s politics by trusting the Aam Aadmi Party. It is a symbol of change.
He said that it is a matter of great pride and honor for the Aam Aadmi Party that Mahesh Sawani, influenced by the vision of Arvind Kejriwal, is joining the party. He said that Mahesh Savani has worked for the development of the society as a social worker. Now want to bring change in governance also. The party and the people of Gujarat will get a lot of benefit from their experiences.
Sisodia said, Aam Aadmi Party is a party formed from among the common people. We will fulfill the hope and dream of the people of Gujarat, which BJP and Congress have been destroying for years. What Congress has not been able to do in 60 years and BJP in 25 years, Arvind Kejriwal has done in Delhi in just 5 years. Now the people of Gujarat are fed up with the false promises of Congress-BJP and want to bring change in Gujarat.
On this occasion, Mahesh Sawani said that he is joining the party after being impressed by Arvind Kejriwal’s model of good governance. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat is like a plot on which the foundation of modern Gujarat can be laid.
