BSP will not contest the election of district panchayat president in UP – Mayawati

BSP President Mayawati has said that the party has decided not to contest the election of district panchayat president currently being held in Uttar Pradesh. The people of the party are instructed that instead of investing their time and energy in this election, they should invest in strengthening the organization of the party and increasing the base of the party in the society. Mayawati said that this time the Bahujan Samaj Party government will be formed in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. When the BSP government is formed here, the district panchayat president will himself join the BSP.
