Uttar Pradesh : Central and state governments did the work of duping the farmer: Pandit Shekhar Dixit
⏺️National Kisan Manch will get farmers to contest on all 403 assembly seats of the state in the upcoming assembly elections.
⏺️The government is ignoring the farmers for the purpose of benefiting the capitalists
National President of Rashtriya Kisan Manch, Pandit Shekhar Dixit accused the central and state government of duping the farmer and said that the farmer will now write his own destiny. For this, the platform will get the farmers to contest all the 403 assembly seats in the state in the upcoming assembly elections. The organization has set a target of making 1 crore new members in the next 3 months, for which a war level membership campaign will be run. Only then will he be able to get his due.
Presiding over the meeting of the members of the Uttar Pradesh Working Committee of the National Farmers Forum at the provincial office, Indira Nagar today, he said that the present Bharatiya Janata Party government is working to benefit the capitalists rather than the interests of the farmers. Farmers have been opposing the Kisan Bill in Delhi for more than 7 months but the government is ignoring them for the purpose of benefiting the capitalists. In Uttar Pradesh too, all the promises made by the BJP government to the farmers in the 2017 elections have proved to be false. The Chief Minister’s promise to pay the sugarcane farmer in 10 days has also turned out to be a jumla. Farmers are getting everything from fertilizers to seeds expensive. Even after this, the price of crops is getting very less, so how can the farmer make a living.
The Prime Minister’s talk of doubling the value of the farmer’s crop has come out in the air. In such a situation, it has become necessary to oust the anti-farmer government from power and take the reins of power by the farmer in his own hands. For this, now the farmers themselves will have to enter politics and make the political parties realize the real power of the farmer. The time has come for the farmers to mobilize for their rights. Taking the opposition ahead, he said that the farmer has supported the SP BSP Congress. Governments have been seen. Their tone also changes when they come to power. Political parties forget the farmers after getting power. He said that the Manch would also contest all the 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming elections. Its road map will soon be in front of everyone.
The meeting was mainly attended by Mohammad Ismail (Unnao), Sardar Surendra Pal Singh Bakshi (Lucknow), Anil Choubey (Azamgarh), Kumari Richa (Lucknow), Sanjay Divedi (Lucknow) from Ved Prakash Shastri (Sitapur). , Sarvesh Pal (Unnao), Ashish Dubey (Oraiya) from Baba (Hardoi), Pawan Dubey (Allahabad), Mohit Kumar Mishra (Sitapur), Mohammad Imran (Gorakhpur), Shiv Karan Singh (Banaras), Madhu Pandey (Sitapur), Manju Sharma (Ghaziabad) Kumari Priya (Agra), Omkar Nath (Bahraich) and other companions were present.
