Himachal Pradesh : CM inaugurates developmental projects worth Rs 9.20 crore in Siraj Vidhan Sabha
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated developmental projects worth about Rs. 9.20 crore in Siraj assembly constituency of Mandi district.
Jai Ram Thakur launched lift drinking water supply scheme of Rs 50 lakh to cover the remaining habitations of Lot, Karswali and Katiali of Gram Panchayat Pakhair and Kanda Bagsyad, lift irrigation of Rs.97 lakh in Kevali village of Gram Panchayat Lamba Thatch in Thunag tehsil Scheme, Rs 6.57 crore flood control wall for Thunag market and adjoining area in Thunag tehsil, Rs 55 lakh inspection center at Tandi, Kala Manch at Thunag by Rs 35.12 lakh and Veterinary Hospital at Murhag worth Rs 25 lakh Launched.
Later, while interacting with the representatives of electronic media, the Chief Minister said that the State Government was committed for balanced and all-round development of all the areas of the State. Therefore, special attention is being paid to the development of those areas, which have been neglected in terms of development due to one reason or the other.
Jai Ram Thakur said that he has dedicated developmental projects worth Rs. 9.20 crore today during his visit to the constituency. He said that it is not possible to communicate directly with the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, so communication has been established through virtual medium with people from almost all areas of the state. He said that the Siraj assembly constituency is one of the inaccessible areas of the state and when he was first elected from this area, only about 17 panchayats were connected by roads. He said that today almost all the 77 panchayats of the area have been connected by roads.
