PM Modi to inaugurate nine new medical colleges in UP
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate nine new medical colleges this month. The last date for the event has not been decided yet. The new medical colleges are in Deoria, Etah, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Mizarpur, Pratapgarh and Siddharth Nagar districts.
He said that about 70 per cent of the total more than 450 faculty members have already been recruited with complete transparency.
The state government said in a statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will simultaneously inaugurate nine new medical colleges. This is the first time in the history of UP that such a large number of medical colleges will be inaugurated simultaneously.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that every district should have a medical college to prevent patients from moving from one district to another for treatment.
