The title of Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Satyanarayana Ki Katha’ will now be changed, Director Sameer Vidyarthi, who is all set to direct Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, on Saturday night released an official statement regarding the change in the film’s title. The director claims that the decision to change the name is aimed at avoiding hurting sentiments. He shared the statement on Twitter and Kartik retweeted it on his verified Twitter handle. The actor also shared it on Instagram.

The statement read: “A title of a film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have decided to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayana Ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments. The decision has been taken. The producers and creative team of the film are also in full support of this decision. We will announce a new title for our love story during our journey. Sincerely, Sameer Scholar.”

Details about the new title are still kept secret. Kartik had officially announced the title of the film with the motion poster of the film shared on Instagram last month. Along with the motion poster on Instagram, Kartik wrote: “The story of Satyanarayan, a story close to my heart. A special film with special people”.

Talking about the film, Kartik had said: “‘Satyanarayana Ki Katha’ is a musical love saga that brings together a powerhouse of National Award winning people. This is also my first time with Sameer Vidyarthi sir, in which Has a clever sense of making sensitive subjects extremely entertaining.”

“Honestly, I feel a lot of pressure and responsibility, as I am the only member in this team without a national award,” Karthik said.

Co-produced by Namah Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film will mark the first collaboration between Kartik and Sajid Nadiadwala.
