Under the aegis of Uttaranchal Punjabi Mahasabha, tree plantation was done under Chandi Ghat bridge near Divya Prem Seva Ashram. Ravishankar, HRDA Secretary Lalit Narayan Mishra, Principal of DPS School Anupam Jagga, Municipal Commissioner Jai Bharat etc. were present. On this occasion, State General Secretary of Uttaranchal Punjabi Mahasabha, Sunil Arora said that recently many people lost their lives due to lack of oxygen in the second wave of Corona. Trees are the biggest source of oxygen. But due to the imbalance created in nature due to indiscriminate felling of trees, many types of problems are being faced today. Therefore, everyone should cooperate in creating a natural balance by planting more and more trees. District Officer C. Ravi Shankar said that every person must plant a sapling in his life. Also, the plant should be protected till it becomes a tree. For the protection of nature, everyone must plant saplings. Raju Oberoi, Jagdish Lal Pahwa, Pramod Pandhi, Kamani Sadana, Geetanjali Banga, Akshat Kumar Kumar, Kunj Bhasin, Amit Bajaj, Sanjay Sharma, Ashish Mehta, Shikhar Paliwal, Bharat Taneja, Yogi Rajneesh, Narendra Banga etc. were also present on this occasion. .
