Starc’s focus on the upcoming two series in view of the T20 World Cup

Australia pacer Mitchell Starc is focusing on the upcoming two series in view of the T20 World Cup to be held this year.
Starc told Cricinfo, “This is a good opportunity for the team considering the preparations for the T20 World Cup. I don’t think I have played 10 T20 matches together in the last four years. However, it would be nice to personally get the rhythm of T20 cricket in a span of a few weeks. Starc played his first T20 World Cup in 2012. He could not play in the T20 World Cup in 2016 due to injury.
Starc would like to regain his momentum for the T20 World Cup by playing the five-match T20I series against West Indies and the five-match T20I series against Bangladesh in the final. Starc said, for the Windies tour, the focus has to be on playing with the white ball. I don’t change much on my preparations in all formats.
“It’s fun to go from one format to another. We have many multi-format players in our team and we all want to play as much cricket as possible. Test cricket is also important for us.
