The Aam Aadmi Party said that during the COVID period, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to give free government cheap ration to crores of APL card holders of the country. But the Uttarakhand government has not yet implemented the Prime Minister’s announcement. Rather, recovery is being made from APL card holders in lieu of wheat and rice. Terming the state government as anti-people, AAP workers demonstrated at the Tehsil office. By gathering in the Tehsil campus Vikasnagar, AAP workers raised slogans against the state government. AAP leader Gurmail Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced free ration to all ration card holders during the COVID period. But unfortunately the APL card holders of Uttarakhand have not got free ration till now. He said that the Uttarakhand government is charging Rs.8,60 paise per kg of wheat and Rs.11 per kg of rice from the APL ration card holders. Said that despite being deprived of employment during the Corona period, even today everyone has to pay the price of free ration. While another Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about free ration to 80 crore people, on the other hand, the recovery is going on by the Uttarakhand government inside Uttarakhand. At the same time, in the Corona epidemic, ration is being distributed from the government cheap gall holders by risking their lives. But till now they have not received the commission.
