Due to the rise in both the precious metals abroad, their prices also increased at the domestic level. In the MCX futures market, gold rose by Rs 232, or 0.49 percent, to Rs 47,916 per 10 grams. Gold Mini also gained Rs 200 to Rs 47,894 per 10 grams.
Silver was sold at Rs 70,075 per kg with a gain of Rs 563, or 0.81 per cent. Silver Mini also rose by Rs 512 and was quoted at Rs 70,135 per kg.
In the international market, spot gold rose by $ 11.90 to reach $ 1,807.45 an ounce today. US gold futures for August also rose $ 13.40 to $ 1,807.60 an ounce. Silver spot was up by $ 0.29 at $ 26.40 an ounce.
