ignou will teach sanskrit to youth

Haldwani : Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will now teach the youth to speak Sanskrit. For this the university has started certificate course in Sanskrit. Interested youth can apply by 15 July. IGNOU Regional Assistant Director Dr. Jagdamba Prasad informed that Certificate Course in Communicative Sanskrit (SSB) has been launched in Open and Distance Mode from July session. The youth interested in taking admission in this course will be able to apply through the admission portal. The minimum duration of the course has been fixed at six months and the maximum duration is one year. The objective of starting the course is to enable the youth to converse in Sanskrit. The last date to fill the online application form for this course is 15th July. The youth applying must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination. 1500 and registration fee of Rs 200 will have to be deposited. Let us inform that seven study centers are operating in Kumaon of IGNOU.
