Uttar Pradesh / Malihabad : Nirmal Verma became block chief in Malihabad

The results were declared after the polling for the block chief on Saturday. There was a wave of happiness among the candidates and their supporters as soon as the victory was announced.

BJP’s Nirmal Verma won the Malihabad block chief election in the day-long election process on Saturday. There were two candidates in the fray. Nirmal Verma got 76 votes and his rival Vidyavati got 7 votes. A total of 89 votes were cast out of 90 votes in the block in which 6 were rejected. The election of the block chief in Malihabad was completed very peacefully. SP Rural Hridesh Kumar had to come to the spot and know the system and gave instructions to keep strict arrangements. As soon as the block chief was announced, there was a wave of happiness among the supporters of Nirmal Verma.
