Traders demonstrated against road breaking
Under the leadership of Vipin Gupta, President of City Business Board Jwalapur and General Secretary Vicky Taneja, traders demonstrated with slogans against Jal Sansthan on Sarai Bypass Road. City President Vipin Gupta and General Secretary Vicky Taneja said that three days ago the road was broken by JCB for laying water line by Jal Sansthan. After laying the water line, an attempt was made to close the potholes of the road by filling it with debris. But neither the potholes were filled properly nor the road construction action was taken. Due to which the road is getting blocked as well as waterlogging and accidents are getting an open invitation. He told that this road belongs to the Irrigation Department. When the engineer of the Irrigation Department was talked to, it was told by him that no permission was taken from the Irrigation Department to break the road, nor did this matter come to his notice. He said that he would talk to the Jal Sansthan in this matter through his department and take action on this matter. When the engineer of Jal Sansthan was talked to, he told that this work is of Jal Sansthan only. But they are not aware of it. So talk to the executive engineer. The executive engineer of the Jal Sansthan was called several times. But he didn’t pick up the phone. The problem was also conveyed in writing. But till now no action has been taken. The road, which was in a damaged condition for a long time, was built only a few months back. Now the road has been dug up again. Among those who performed were Gaurav Goyal, Kamal Chhabra, Achin, Ravi, Rahul, Satish, Jagdish Yadav, Sanjeev Mehta, Mukesh Gupta, Anurag etc.
