Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the fulfillment of basic needs is a big challenge for the whole world due to the increasing pressure of population due to limited resources.

Gehlot said this on World Population Day today. He said that resources on earth are limited, so due to increasing pressure of population, fulfillment of basic needs is a big challenge for the whole world. He said that on this occasion, awareness about the dangers of increasing population is very important so that the coming generations can get better opportunities to live a quality life.
On this occasion Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Singh Rathore said that continuous increase in population is a big problem for the development of any nation. Shri Rathod said that on the occasion of World Population Day, one should take a pledge to spread awareness in the society about the ill-effects of increasing population by taking active part in the programs of family planning.
