Uttarakhand / New Tehri : 11 rural roads closed due to rain in Tehri
NH 94 in the district was closed near Nagun Barrier in the morning due to the rain since last night. Which has been opened by installing JCB in the afternoon. Traffic was affected here for about two hours. Traffic is stalled for about an hour as the bus got stuck due to debris near the Dobra-Chanthi bridge. Which was removed after hard work. Apart from this, 11 rural roads in the district were also closed due to rain. Due to which people in rural areas have to face a lot of trouble in movement. Which are being claimed to be opened soon. The Gahad-Palyaptala rural motor road is closed in rural roads since June 16. The Suyada-Dhari motorway has been closed since June 21. Vinay Khal-Genwali, Suvakholi-Almast, Bagiyal-Jwarna, Kamand-Bhaldiana rural roads are closed since July 11. Whereas on July 12, due to rain, the rural roads of Thatyur-Agyarna, Gular-Nai Midhanth, Philadi-Manjuli, Jhirkoti-Kaproli, Roaddhar-Paurikhal have been closed. The process of opening them is being done.
