Concern due to increase in the number of deaths due to corona in the country

More than two thousand people died in a day

The slowdown in the second wave of the corona epidemic in the country and the increase in the number of daily deaths due to corona infection in the midst of the third wave has started causing concern. In the last 24 hours, 2020 patients died. While 31,443 new cases of infection have been reported.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday, the total number of infected people increased to 3,09,05,819 after the lowest number of 31,443 new cases were reported in the country after 118 days. At the same time, after 2020 new deaths, the number of dead increased to 4,10,784. Earlier, more than two thousand deaths were reported on June 16, when 2,329 deaths were recorded. In fact, this jump in the daily death toll has been recorded after a fresh tally of the figures of people who lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Madhya Pradesh.

More than 4.31 lakh active patients
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, the number of patients under treatment for COVID-19 in the country has come down to 4,31,315, which is 1.40 percent of the total cases. The national recovery rate of patients is 97.28 percent. According to the data, a total of 43,40,58,138 samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, out of which 17,40,325 samples were tested on Monday. The daily rate of samples coming infected in the country has come down to 1.81 percent. This is less than three percent for the last 22 consecutive days. The weekly rate of samples coming infected is 2.28 percent. So far, a total of 3,00,63,720 people have become infection free. The death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.32 percent. A total of 38.14 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given in the country so far.

The number of infected in the country had crossed 20 lakh on August 7 last year, 30 lakh on August 23 and more than 40 lakh on September 5. At the same time, the total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November. In the country, these cases had crossed one crore on December 19, crossed two crore on May 4 and crossed three crore on June 23.
