Foundation stone of schemes worth about Rs 1.91 crore in Arki assembly constituency
Health and Family Welfare and AYUSH Minister Dr. Rajeev Saizal said that the State Government is determined to save the people from the COVID-19 pandemic and Himachal is the first state in the country where 65 percent people have been ensured the first dose of vaccine to prevent corona infection. Dr. Saizal was addressing a gathering present in the Gram Panchayat Darla of Arki assembly constituency of Solan district last evening. Dr. Earlier, Saijal laid the foundation stone of development projects worth about Rs 1.91 crore in Gram Panchayat Darla. He laid the foundation stone of 1.02 km long link road from Karora to Lower Nauni to be constructed at a cost of about Rs 1.30 crore and 1.48 km long link road from Nauni to Baga to be constructed at a cost of Rs 61.46 lakh. He directed to complete the construction work of link roads in a period of 08 months. The AYUSH Minister said that precautions and vaccination are necessary at all levels to deal with the corona crisis. He said that we all have to take forward the process of development along with prevention from the COVID-19 crisis so that the required improvement can be brought in the economy of the country and the state. He urged everyone to always wear a mask in public places and wash their hands frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer. He urged everyone to get vaccinated to protect against Kovid so that soon the state can achieve the target of 100% vaccination. Dr. Saijal said that the vaccine is being tested to protect against Kovid-19 to keep children safe in the country. He said that the State Government has made continuous preparations along with creation of infrastructure to protect against Kovid in the State and efforts are being made to save everyone from the possible third wave.
The Health Minister said that roads play an important role in the development of hilly states like Himachal. He said that the present State Government is making efforts that all the villages of the State should get connectivity at the earliest. He urged the people to voluntarily provide land for link roads and other development works so that the benefits of development works reach everyone in time. Dr. Saijal assured the people that appropriate action would be taken soon for Community Health Center at Darlaghat. He said that due to non-provision of budget by the previous government in Baga, the primary health center was scheduled (de-notified). The State Government will soon notify the Primary Health Center and make provision of appropriate amount. He said that various development works of the area would be completed within the stipulated time period.
Dr. On this occasion, Saijal listened to the problems of the people and directed the officers to resolve them at the earliest.
State BJP Vice President and State Cooperative Development Federation Limited President Ratan Singh Pal, on this occasion, provided detailed information about the development in Arki assembly constituency during the tenure of the present government. Gram Panchayat Darla Pradhan Bansiram Bhatia welcomed everyone while Captain Hiralal presented the vote of thanks.
