Australia confused by Finch injury

Australia are confused over the availability of their captain Aaron Finch for the ODI series against West Indies starting July 21 in Barbados. While fielding in the final T20, Finch injured his right knee. The 34-year-old had to leave the field for some time. Finch felt uncomfortable chasing 200, especially when running between the wickets on the overthrow.

Australia lost the last T20 by 16 runs and lost the series 1-4.

In T20, Australia’s vice-captain Matthew Wade said, “In ODIs, I don’t know what will happen there.” I’m probably not looking forward to play, especially if Finch plays, but if he doesn’t, it might be a chance for me to play. cricket.com.au
Wade, who last played an ODI in September 2017, captained Australia in the Sydney T20 against India last year. Finch was absent in that match.
