Due to heavy rains on Sunday morning, 4 laborers engaged in bridge construction got stuck on the island in the middle of the river when the quantity of water in the Yellow River in Shyampur area increased. Those who were pulled out of the river with the help of a crane by the Shyampur police station. In Shyampur area, the work of bridge construction is going on over the Yellow River. Four workers engaged in the construction of the bridge, Sarjit Khan son Shabbir Khan resident Khatola Bareilly Uttar Pradesh, Salman son Akhtar Khan resident Nagaria Bareilly Uttar Pradesh, Firoz son Mausam Khan resident Khatola Bareilly Uttar Pradesh, Shoaib son Hasnain resident Nagaria Bareilly Uttar Pradesh to finish the work at night. After that slept on the island in the middle of the river. The water level of the river increased due to heavy rains on Saturday night and early morning. Due to which the four laborers sleeping on the island got trapped. Shyampur SHO Anil Chauhan reached the spot of May Force on the information that laborers were trapped on the island in the middle of the river and also apprised the SDRF and control room about the situation. But due to paucity of time and continuous rise in water level, he called the crane of NHI and got all the laborers out of the river safely. Along with this, the officials and laborers of NHI were asked not to go into the river during the rainy season. Along with this, an announcement has been made in all the villages situated on the banks of the river that no one should cross the river and those who have houses and slums near the river should also stay away from the river and take precautions.
