There was also a demand to increase the budget of Rishikesh Municipal Corporation. Rishikesh Mayor Anita Mamgain met CM Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun on Sunday. He informed the CM about various development works of Rishikesh city. Said that the budget of the municipality is still being given in Rishikesh Municipal Corporation, which has been upgraded from the municipality. This is affecting various projects. Said that Devbhoomi Rishikesh is known worldwide as the International Capital of Yoga. Throughout the year, there is a movement of tourists from all over the country and the world. Developing Rishikesh as a tourism hub will also provide employment opportunities to the youth. He thanked the CM for the initiative of connecting Doiwala railway line and making IDPL a tourism hub. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami assured all possible cooperation in developing the pilgrimage town.
