Rajasthan : Now even the police is not safe, it also needs protection : Rajendra Singh Rathod

Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Rajendra Singh Rathod has said that due to deteriorating law and order situation in the state, the fearless miscreants have increased so much that even the police are no longer safe and they also need protection.

Shri Rathod said this today after the case of firing on the head constable and robbing the car of DST team in-charge came to light. He said that along with the general public, the police have also come on the target of the robbers. He said that the record increase in incidents like thrashing, firing, public thrashing and looting of policemen is proving that the police who provide security to the common man need protection now.

He said that the incident of firing on the head constable in Sikar and robbing the car of DST team in-charge in Jaipur Commissionerate proves that the Iqbal of the police in the state is over. The courage of fearless miscreants in the state has increased to such an extent that they are defying law and order by openly challenging the police.
