Uttarakhand : Warm welcome to young cricketer Sneh Rana, who returned from England tour, on reaching Doon

Young cricketer Sneh Rana, who reached Doon for the first time after returning from England tour, was given a warm welcome. Upon reaching Doon, Sneh Rana received blessings from Shri Mahant Devendra Das at the Shri Darbar Sahib. After this, Sneh planted a sapling at SGRR Public School located at Race Course. Sneh Rana reached Dehradun from Delhi on Monday morning. She reached Sri Darbar Sahib with her coach Narendra Shah and family members. Where he was welcomed according to the tradition of Darbar Sahib. He met Shri Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj and got his blessings. During this, Shri Mahant Devendra Das appealed to Uttarakhand and Government of India to provide better facilities to Sneh Rana. He said that Sneh Rana is also a worthwhile example of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. Said that affection is the pride of the entire country including Uttarakhand. He has achieved this position on the strength of his struggle and hard work. Shri Gururam Rai University will soon organize a felicitation ceremony to honor Sneh Rana. After this Sneh Rana reached SGRR Public School located at Race Course. Where the school’s principal Pratibha Khatri, her coach and president of Little Master Cricket Club Narendra Shah, secretary Kiran Shah and the children of the club gave a warm welcome. Sneh Rana got acquainted with all the players of the club. Cricketer Sneh Rana also planted saplings in the school premises.
Piyush Rajbhar won Run for Peace
Fifteen children participated in the Run for Peace organized by Peace of India on the birthday of Nobel laureate and former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela and gave a message of peace and goodwill. Piyush Rajbhar secured first position in this race. On Sunday, a run for peace race was organized by the Rishikesh branch of Peace of India from Chandeshwar Ghat to Mayakund Ghat. Fifteen children from neglected families from the society participated in the race. Former Minister of State Krishna Kumar Singhal flagged off the race as the chief guest. In the race Piyush Rajbhar, Rohit Shah and Abhishek Rajbhar got first, second, third place respectively.
