Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Central government is not serious about the problems of farmers : Chaudhary Devpal Rathi

Led by senior Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Chaudhary Devpal Singh Rathi, activists supported the farmers by reaching the farmers union’s dharna at Bahadarabad toll plaza for the last one month to withdraw the agricultural laws. During this, Chaudhary Devpal Rathi said that the farmers have been agitating for a long time to withdraw all the three agricultural laws implemented by the central government to benefit the industrialists. But the insensitive central government, working at the behest of industrialists, is not even ready to take care of the agitating farmers. He alleged that even before the passage of all the three agricultural laws in Parliament, the Adani Group had constructed huge warehouses in many places in the country. Which is spread over hundreds of acres. It is not a coincidence that the first godown and later the agriculture law is passed. Rather, there is a collusion between the government and the capitalists. For the last several months, farmers across the country have been staging a sit-in on the borders around Delhi to get the agricultural laws repealed. In which more than five hundred farmers have given their martyrdom so far. But the Prime Minister of the country or any minister of the government did not even express any condolence towards him. The government is not serious about the problems of the farmers. During this, Harpal Singh, Nirankar Singh Rathi, Rashmi Singh, Krishna Kumar Punia, Qazi Chand etc. were present.
