Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Three arrested including two accused named in property dealer murder case

Police have arrested three people, including the main accused Shivkumar alias Penalty, named in the murder case of property dealer Ravindra in Jamalpur Kalan. Giving information to the journalists at the SSP office, Roshanabad, Senior Superintendent of Police Senthil Abudai Krishnaraj S. Told that on the night of July 19 last, property businessman Ravindra alias Bablu, resident of Jamalpur Kalan under police station Kankhal, was shot dead in the head while sleeping in the house. The wife of the deceased had lodged a police report accusing Shivkumar alias Penalty Mama, resident of Muzaffarnagar and Vinod, resident of Jamalpur Haridwar, of murder. After registering the report, the team of police station Kankhal police and CIU engaged in search of the accused, taking joint action, arrested Shivkumar alias Penalty Mama, who was trying to escape to Muzaffarnagar, from Jiyapota Tirahe. During interrogation, he told that a day before the murder, Ravindra had a dispute with him and Vinod. In which Ravindra, along with his associates, had assaulted them and called the police and sent them to the police station. After this he and Vinod together made a plan to kill Ravindra. To kill him, Vinod gave him a pistol and dropped him in his car near Ravindra’s house. He entered the house and killed Ravindra, who was sleeping, by shooting him in the head. After committing the murder, he reached the house of his relative Dharmendra living in Jamalpur and hid the pistol and bloodied T-shirt used in the murder in his house and escaped. The SSP said that Dharmendra was arrested on the charge of sheltering the accused along with recovering the pistol and bloodied T-shirt used in the murder from Dharmendra’s house on the spot of Shivkumar Penalty. After this, the second named accused Vinod was also arrested from his house. During this, SP City Kamlesh Upadhyay, CO City Abhay Pratap, Police Station Kankhal in-charge Kamal Kumar Lundhi, CIU in-charge Ranjit Singh Tomar etc. were also present.
