Plantation is necessary for human life : Trivendra Rawat
Dehradun : Former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that plantation is necessary for human life. Without plants the existence of human life cannot be saved. A plantation program was organized on the Harela festival at Nakraunda under Thana Range on Saturday. In the program, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat started the program by planting saplings. He said that people are being made aware about environmental protection by planting saplings everywhere in the state. DFO Rajeev Dhiman said that the Forest Department is planting saplings in collaboration with other mediums and social organizations along with its set target. In which lakhs of trees have been planted so far, as well as the forest department is working continuously for their conservation. More than 600 saplings were planted during this period.
On the occasion, Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Thana Ranger Nathi Lal Doval, Deputy Ranger Gagandeep Gamal Singh, Satish Pokhriyal, Inder Singh, Madhav Panwar, Rakesh Kandwal, Sunil Bhatt, Rajendra Panwar, Neeraj Kumar, Amit Kumar, Brijmohan, Bishan Singh, Solanki, Raghuveer Singh, Councilor Ajeyta Panwar, Swati Doval, Vinod Kumar, Prashant Kharola, Ashok Raj Panwar, Sachin etc. were present.
