A delegation of Uttarakhand Industrial Welfare Association met Industries Minister Ganesh Joshi to demand the resolution of various problems of industries. The association submitted a memorandum to the Industries Minister regarding the eight-point demands of the industrial areas Selakui and Kalsi. in which the problems were sought to be resolved. On which Industries Minister Ganesh Joshi said that he wants more and more companies to be established in Uttarakhand and more and more youth should get employment. For this they are ready to give all possible support to the industries. Uttarakhand Industrial Welfare Association in a memorandum submitted to Industries Minister Ganesh Joshi said that on one hand the state government wants to set up industries in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand as well. On the other hand, land was taken on rent for ten to fifteen years for the industries established in Kalsi. For which lease, deed and stamp duty were paid. The industrial unit also got the land use changed from the sub-divisional officer. But the sub-divisional officer has issued orders to vest the land in the government. So how will the industry invest? Said that the measles number 323 has been notified by the Uttarakhand government. On which industries bought land and established industries. But the Court Assistant Collector Vikasnagar has issued a notice to the industries saying the allotment is wrong. The transfer levy to the industrial area was increased to five percent and rent was allowed to two percent by SIDCUL. Due to which new entrepreneurs are not daring to set up industries. The association said that the various subsidies being given by the state government in the hilly areas should be given on time. So that entrepreneurs can deposit the installments of banks on time. Capital subsidy on working capital should be given to the hilly areas units which have been completely closed. This has increased unnecessary burden on the units under the policy. Applications were invited in August 2020 for giving plots to industries. But till now no action has been taken against them. A road is damaged in the industrial area Selakui, its work is pending for four years. Said that the problems raised in the meetings of industry friends are not resolved and are kept for the next meeting. But then the problems are not solved. During the meeting, Industries Minister Joshi, after talking to the District Magistrate Dehradun, assured the office bearers of the Association that the problems would be resolved on the spot by holding a meeting with the District Magistrate, Association to resolve the problems soon. President of Uttarakhand Industrial Welfare Association Sunil Uniyal, General Secretary Mahesh Sharma, Vice President IPS Chawla, former President Jitendra Kumar and Pankaj Gupta were present in the meeting.
