Uttar Pradesh : ‘Mathura Police is the top in the cases of encounter’

Mathura Police has been the top in the case of police encounter with miscreants. In a police encounter in Agra, in the year 2011, the last gangster bandit Vishnu Parihar was killed in Agra. On July 19, 2021, two dacoits were killed in a police encounter. The police in Firozabad was killed in a police encounter on 19 March 2018. No miscreant has died in a police encounter in Mainpuri for a long time.
On 29 January 2021, the Meo gang attacked the police team that went as an arms dealer in the forest of Nagla Siroli, a village on the UP-Haryana border. A passerby was killed in bullets fired from both sides. A constable and a miscreant were injured. The injured miscreant was picked up by his companions.
On 27 October 2020, Amit Bavaria, synonymous with terror, was piled up in western Uttar Pradesh in an encounter with miscreants of STF and Mathura police near the service road of the Expressway in Naujheel police station area. The encounter took place late in the night near Chhatta Kotwali on the Agra-Delhi highway. During this two smugglers also managed to escape, all the smugglers were residents of Nuh Mewat Haryana.
Going back a little further, on January 18, 2018, an 8-year-old child died in an encounter between police and miscreants near Tarsi village. Thana Highway Police had received information that some miscreants are hiding in village Mohanpura Aduki. When the police laid siege and challenged the miscreants, they started firing. During this, an eight-year-old child was killed due to bullet injuries.
On 03 August 2017, a youth was killed while a SWAT team in-charge and a constable were injured in a police encounter that took place in Vishambhara village with Sahoon, a prize money of three and a half lakhs. Sahoon had fled while firing.
Apart from this, there have been many big police encounters of Mathura Police in the last year and this year, although no one died in them. On 11 April 2021, a crook demanding a ransom of one crore was arrested in a police encounter. Another accomplice of the miscreant had managed to escape. On January 14, 2021, the police had already sent five miscreants to jail in this case of Dr. Nirvikalpa kidnapping, while the mastermind of this incident, Anoop, a reward of one lakh, was absconding. The police arrested him in the encounter. On 26 May 2021, three members of an inter-state gang were arrested in Mathura, when the police had an encounter with cow smugglers. April 11, 2021: The kidnapped son of the businessman was freed by the Mathura police after an encounter. Two kidnappers were arrested in the encounter.
23 September 2020 : Excel gang leader and prize crook Ramu was arrested after the encounter, the miscreant was shot in the leg.
18 August 2020 : There was an encounter between police and miscreants near Anantham Sun City near Jait of Vrindavan police station Kotwali area. During the encounter, two miscreants who ran away after looting silver were injured.
