Uttarakhand : Preparations completed to welcome Congress State President Ganesh Godiyal

The party has completed preparations to welcome the newly-appointed President of Uttarakhand Congress, Ganesh Godiyal. Giving this information, Congress Vice President Dhirendra Pratap and General Ministers Organization Vijay Saraswat and Naveen Joshi said that in view of the heavy rains, a water proof tent has been put up at the party headquarters and the Congress headquarters has been decorated with flags and big banners. In collaboration with Congress General Secretary PK Agarwal, water proof tents and flags have been put up at the party headquarters and a large number of party flags and banners have been put up across the city. Throughout the day, party vice-presidents Jot Singh Bisht and Dhirendra Pratap, general secretaries Vijay Saraswat, PK Agarwal, Rajendra Shah and Naveen Joshi and party spokesperson Manthura Dutt Joshi took stock of the party’s preparations and tried to carry out the party preparations till late evening. . In view of the heavy rain alert by the Meteorological Department, water proof tents have been arranged. While arrangements for pulao have been made for the lunch of party workers coming from across the state. Today Congress Seva Dal President Rajesh Rastogi also came to the party office and apprised the party leaders about the preparations of the Seva Dal. In view of the arrival of yesterday’s Congress President in Dehradun, a large number of workers from all over the state started reaching the party headquarters earlier in the day and their enthusiasm was visible. Dhirendra Pratap and Naveen Joshi told that the welcome of the newly appointed President of the party’s election campaign committee and former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, new Congress President Ganesh Godiyal and the new Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh would be historic and on this occasion several thousand people from across the state. There is a possibility of coming to Dehradun.
