Karnataka B. Bommai became 23rd Chief Minister, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered the oath

Basavaraj Bommai took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka today at 11 am on Wednesday. Bommai took oath as the 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka. Only B. Bommai has taken oath i.e. the cabinet will be expanded later. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot at the Glass House of the Karnataka Raj Bhavan. Let us inform that Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai was chosen for the post of CM after BS Yediyurappa resigned from the post of Chief Minister. Basavaraj Bommai was till now the Home Minister of Karnataka, who has now become the Chief Minister. From today Bommai will be the head here. Basavaraj Bommai comes from the Lingayat community. His father SR Bommai was also the Chief Minister for 281 days in 1988.
Bommai is currently serving as the Home Minister of Karnataka. Born on January 28, 1960, Bommai Sadar belongs to the Lingayat community and is considered close to Yeddyurappa. Basavaraj Bommai started his political career with Chhavsth and later joined BJP in 2008. Two-time angry and three-time MLA Bommai was elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in the 2008 Karnataka state elections from Shiggaon constituency in Haveri district. Bommai is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
