Hearing in Uttarakhand High Court in Char Dham Yatra case. Ban on Char Dham Yatra continues till July 28. The court asked the government to take a decision in the meetings of the Char Dham Board for live streaming of Char Dham. The court has asked the state government to reconsider its decision to open tourist places on weekends. During the hearing, the court told the governments that Kovid-19 rules are not being followed in tourist places. Taking cognizance of the news published in the newspapers, the court said that tourists are reaching tourist places without registration, without RTPCR report, without mask, without sanitizer, due to which the account of increase of delta variant has increased in the hills. The court has asked the government to file its reply by July 28. According to the case, many people including advocates Dushyant Mainali, Sachchidanand Dabral, have filed various public interest litigations for the state’s health systems, and for setting up vaccinations to fight Kovid. Although the state government has already turned to the Supreme Court on this decision of the Nainital High Court, now it has to be seen what decision the Supreme Court takes on this.
