Mustard oil rises on festive demand, raw ghani Rs 2,715 tin
There was a substantial improvement in the prices of mustard oil oilseeds due to spurt in foreign markets and less arrival of mustard in the country’s mandis as well as festive demand. Mustard is in great demand. There has been a steady rise in festive demand for the festival in places like Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, leading to an improvement in mustard.
At the same time, market sources said that the Chicago Exchange was up by one percent and the Malaysia Exchange gained 2.8 percent. He said that yesterday the Malaysia Exchange was down by 2.8 percent, while on Thursday it improved by 2.8 percent. Due to this, the prices of CPO and Palmolein Oils closed at the previous level. The CEO of ADM, a major oil company, has estimated that the global soybean production may decrease by about 15 million tonnes due to adverse weather conditions.
